WHAT DATE SHOULD I RSVP BY?
We request that guests kindly RSVP online by April 21, 2024.
ARE ETIAS TRAVEL AUTHORIZATIONS REQUIRED FOR ENTERING ITALY?
Not at this time. Previously, it was announced that starting in 2024, citizens of 60 visa-exempt nations would require an ETIAS travel authorization to enter most European countries, including Italy. However, the implementation timeline has been pushed back to mid-2025. Also, while there are no COVID-19 restrictions, keep in mind these general travel tips:

Passport Validity: Ensure your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your intended stay in Italy.

Visa Requirements: Depending on your nationality, you might need a visa to enter Italy. Please see this website for general guidelines.
WHERE SHOULD WE STAY FOR THE EVENTS?
We recommend staying in or around Sorrento for convenience.
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED MODE OF TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE SORRENTO AREA?
We will provide transportation from the Naples International Airport or Napoli Centrale (Naples central train station) to your accommodation. We will follow-up with you regarding your travel plans closer to the wedding date. For your return trip, we recommend taking the bus or asking the hotel to arrange a taxi to take you to the airport or train station.
DO YOU HAVE A THEME FOR YOUR WEDDING?
Yes! The theme of our wedding celebration is centered on the natural elements — earth, water, air, and fire.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE EVENTS?
Welcome Reception: Garden cocktail attire
Wedding: Formal attire, and if you feel inspired, we'd love to see you embrace the theme in your own unique way
Farewell Brunch: Smart casual attire
HOW SHOULD WE GET TO THE WEDDING EVENTS? IS PARKING AVAILABLE?
If you are staying in Old Town Sorrento, you will be able to walk or take a short taxi to the Welcome Reception and the Wedding. For those who plan to attend the Farewell Brunch, we will provide a shuttle service from Old Town Sorrento to the Farewell Brunch. Onsite parking will not be available for the events. Stay tuned for additional updates!
WILL THE EVENTS BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
All events will be outdoors.
ARE THE EVENT VENUES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Unfortunately, the venues for our wedding events are not fully wheelchair accessible. While we have not been able to find venues that meet all our needs with complete accessibility, we want to assure you that we are committed to making this event as inclusive as possible. If you have specific transportation needs related to accessibility, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to assist.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN THE AREA?
The weather in Sorrento in mid-September is typically warm and sunny, with average highs in the mid-80s Fahrenheit and lows in the mid-60s. We recommend checking the weather forecast as the date approaches for real-time updates.
AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS-ONE?
Thank you for asking! Due to limited space, we are not able to accommodate plus-ones for all guests this time. If you have a plus-one, his/her/their name will be indicated on the invitation envelope.
AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY CHILDREN?
We are thrilled to welcome children (and personal sitters) during the Welcome Reception on September 17th and Farewell Brunch on September 19th.
Unfortunately, the Wedding venue for September 18th is unable to accommodate children due to safety concerns. Please let us know in the Notes section of the RSVP form if you plan to bring your sitter for the Welcome Reception and/or the Farewell Brunch. You may also inquire about professional babysitting services through our Concierge Service.
WILL THERE BE MEAL OPTIONS FOR GUESTS WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR ALLERGIES?
Yes! Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we will work with the caterers to provide alternative meal options.
WHAT TYPE OF FOOD WILL BE SERVED DURING THE FESTIVITIES?
We are excited to serve Italian cuisine at the events while adhering to your dietary restrictions.
The Welcome Reception will be a pizza party of sorts, featuring Neapolitan-style pizza (what’s deep dish? ;)) If you have any gluten sensitivities, please let us know in the designated field on the RSVP form.
The Wedding Reception will feature both traditional and modern Italian fare. We will note any dietary restrictions you have listed on the RSVP form.
The Farewell Brunch will have a mix of American and Italian-style breakfast options.
IS THERE A WEDDING REGISTRY?
We don’t expect any gifts and we truly believe your presence at our wedding and the memories we will share together are the greatest gifts we could ask for. With that said, we are fond of handwritten cards! If you would like to send a gift you can find our registry here.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT YOUR CEREMONY?
Please arrive at Villa Astor by 5pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.
WHAT TIME WILL YOUR RECEPTION END? WILL THERE BE AN AFTER-PARTY?
The reception will end at 11pm. Guests are welcome to stay until midnight to lounge around and chill.

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS AT YOUR WEDDING?
Absolutely! However, we ask that you kindly give the right of way to our photographers and videographers during the ceremony.
WHERE WILL WEDDING UPDATES BE POSTED?
We will share wedding updates via email and also on our website.
